The information we collect

If you apply for a position online you will need to provide personal data (including your name, e-mail address and telephone number), along with details of your current and previous employment, education and training. This may include sensitive data relating to you, including medical details, and details of criminal offences or proceedings.

How we use the information we collect

We will process this data for the purpose of this (or any future) application, and, if you are successful, your future employment. If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain the information for no longer than is necessary.

We may need to verify information provided on the online application form including, but not limited to, taking up references, contacting educational bodies and accessing publicly available information.

Sharing your information

We will share some or all of your information with Alexander Mann Solutions Limited who are instructed by us to assist in the processing of graduate programme applications. You will be also asked to complete an online psychometric test which will be sent to you by Alexander Mann Solutions Limited.

Alexander Mann Solutions Limited have agreed that any processing of the information you provide in response to this test will be in accordance with this privacy policy.

We may also transfer any of your information overseas to any office of United Biscuits, or any of our affiliate, based in the European Economic Area ("EEA").

Cookies

Like most other websites, during the course of any visit to the United Biscuits Graduate website, we use small files which are stored on your hard drive by our browser ("cookies") to monitor your use of the website. Once you have closed your browser, we do not use the information these cookies collect.

Security

Whilst no data transmission over the internet is completely secure, we have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data under our control. These security measures are continuously being improved in line with technological developments.
