The UB Graduate Programme is all about potential – yours and ours. It is designed to support talented, ambitious and innovative graduates to become the future managers of our business.

When you produce some of the best-loved brands in the market, making them even more successful is not easy. Our Graduate Programme ensures we will have talented people who are up to the challenge. It has been specifically designed to provide the training, experiences and opportunities to let you maximise your potential.

A real job from day one

You will go straight into a real job from day one, ensuring that you gain meaningful experience and add value to our business right from the start. You will need to select the career area that you want to specialise in from the following:

• Food Technical
• Manufacturing
• Sales
• Marketing
• Supply Chain
• Procurement
• HR & Communications

Whilst there will be opportunities for you to move into other areas as you progress within UB, this is not a rotational programme. You should think carefully about which career area is right for you. In your role, you will work with some of the best people in the industry. You’ll develop the technical skills and gain the experience needed to succeed in your chosen area and to get your career off to a flying start.

A world-class development programme

During the 12-month Graduate Programme, you’ll regularly join our other graduates for a series of development modules. These modules have been specifically designed to ensure that you develop the business acumen, self-awareness, leadership skills and networks you will need to progress into other roles in our business. As part of the Graduate Programme, you will be part of a business project group where you will get the opportunity to present your proposal to the Exec Board – an opportunity that not every employee gets! The Graduate Programme is an opportunity for you to build relationships with UB graduates across all the career areas and locations.

The support to succeed

To help you fulfil your potential, we’ll provide you with a mentor who will follow and support your progression through the programme. We will also provide you with a buddy, someone in your own career area who can show you the ropes from day one and help you to hit the ground running. And you will always have the support of the Central HR Team and previous UB programme graduates.

Everyone is different so we will help you to progress at your own speed. When you're ready, we’ll provide the opportunities. After that, how far you go is really up to you.
